Lead operations for a high-volume, complex, multi-site physician practice that includes both ambulatory and procedural care. Responsible for advancing patient access, operational efficiency, and quality of care. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee day-to-day operations, lead teams through change, and implement practical solutions to improve workflows, team effectiveness, and patient experience.

  • Provide administrative leadership in the development, interpretation, and execution of policies, procedures, and long-range operational plans

  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations at Charlois Boulevard Urology Clinic; collaborate with Urology leaders on coordination of activities at all Urology locations in the Wake Area: MP Elm (GSO), N. Wilkesboro, Hickory, Lexington, High Point, and the Comprehensive Cancer Center.

  • Optimize access and scheduling (provider templates, overbooks/add-ons, procedural scheduling, and infusion scheduling standards)

  • Manage surgery operations, including surgery scheduling and departmental block utilization, reporting across facilities

  • Lead new patient referral team and oversee new patient referral processes: monitor turnaround times, conversion rates, and leakage metrics

  • Contribute to financial oversight through budget preparation, MOR reporting, variance analysis, and expense management

  • Apply Agile methodologies (iterative improvements, stand-ups, backlog prioritization) to enhance clinic workflows and throughput

  • Lead change management initiatives, ensuring adoption of new processes, technologies, and service line standards

  • Establish staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure efficient, patient-centered care delivery

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships (Radiology, Piedmont Stone, marketing, business development, etc.) and standardize workflows across subspecialties

  • Maintain and improve patient experience, resolving complaints related to care, billing, and service

  • Lead HR functions: hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, coaching, and employee relations

  • Produce and analyze operational and financial reports, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions

  • Support provider productivity to meet or exceed volume and quality targets

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and coding requirements, and support quality initiatives

  • Serve as a liaison between leadership, providers, staff, and external partners to drive alignment and problem resolution

  • Oversee facility operations and safety planning, including emergency preparedness and maintenance coordination

  • Uphold organizational values, policies, and ethical standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare or business management experience, preferably in a multi-site setting

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

    • Working knowledge of practice management systems, EHRs, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    • Demonstrated financial acumen (budgeting, reporting, variance analysis)

    • Experience with Agile practices and structured change management methodologies

    • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills

    • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, multi-site environment

    • Self-directed with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
