~1 min readYou’ll be part of the River Birch Unit, a 22-bed adult behavioral health unit serving patients aged 18 and older. The unit treats a wide range of behavioral health conditions, including depression, substance use disorders, and psychosis. River Birch also admits patients requiring Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), as well as pregnant and postpartum individuals. Patients with more complex medical needs are typically cared for in this unit due to its specialized resources and support.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Behavioral Health Davidson consists of three units: River Birch, Mountain Laurel, and Fraser Fir. Each unit has 22 beds. We are an acute care inpatient
