The Pediatric and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte is a secure, acute care psychiatric unit providing 24/7 stabilization and treatment for patients experiencing serious mental health conditions. This unit serves patients typically ages 5–17 who require a higher level of care due to safety concerns such as suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviors, psychosis, severe mood disorders, or behavioral dysregulation.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current RN licensure in the appropriate state
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (preferred)
Previous management experience (preferred)
Behavioral Health Pediatric Experience and Supervisor Experience.
BSN required
- Candidates hired or promoted without a BSN must:
  - Enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer
  - Complete the BSN program within 3 years of enrollment
BLS certification required per policy guidelines
Professional certification (clinical or leadership) required within 1 year of eligibility for the certification exam
Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required by the department's nurse leader
