Abbott Vascular Netherlands in Heerlen, The Netherlands, is one of the two Abbott Vascular Tier 1 distribution centers responsible for the worldwide distribution of Abbott’s vascular products. From our 10,000 m2 warehouse we ship an average of 1,950 deliveries per day (>750,000 units per month) to hospitals, Abbott distributors and Abbott affiliates in Europe, Middle East, Africa and South America.

We do not only ship international on a global scale, also our 200 employees working in the warehouse and office departments come from all over the world. Together as 1 team we make sure that we process customer orders, maintain a high service level to ensure that our customers receive the right products on time. Abbott Vascular Netherlands offers a complete and high standard Supply Chain solution, including an extensive range of value-add logistics activities such as labeling, relabeling and reworking of products to meet country specific needs.

Your assignment as a Business Analyst Intern will be dynamic, meaningful, and impactful. You will work closely with our Analyst team members on a project that combines data analytics, business intelligence, data architecture and programming (SQL). The goal is to create a live dashboard with a robust data architecture structure that provides real-time insights into our operations, helping us make data driven decisions and improve efficiency.

·       You won’t just analyze data: you’ll create a structure that will influence global operations.

·       You’ll learn how to translate business needs into actionable insights.

·       You’ll gain hands on experience with Power BI and Fabric Business Objects.

·       You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, learning about stakeholder management, KPI development, and performance measurement in a Tier 1 distribution center.

This is a team effort: you will not work alone. We will guide you, coach you, and ensure you have the support needed to succeed.

Are you an active HBO student, preferably studying Business Intelligence or Data Science, machine learning or a related field ,  then we are looking for you!

Knowledge of SQL/Power BI/ Fabric/ Business Objects is a pre-requisite.
