The Global Process Manager is responsible to drive global standards, process transformation and continuous improvement for respective process areas within Record to Report (RTR), in support of SSO Hubs, CFS and other key stakeholders. This role directly supports the Global Process Owner Record to Report for related process leadership and program deliverables. You will be responsible for driving process governance, leading and delivering global process initiatives within a matrixed organization across multiple geographies, organizations, and divisions. This includes identifying key metrics, trends, benchmarking, and improvement opportunities. This role will also drive process automation including robotics and other intelligent solutions for the supported process area.
This role will support process and systems initiatives across key RTR Financial Systems including various enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Cadency Financial Close Management system, CORA Intercompany workflow, and other enabling technologies.

Drive end to end process governance, working towards global processes and global standards
- →
Drive process adoption and related sustainability for implemented global processes
- →
Lead and monitor process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives related to respective sub-process areas including process standardization, simplification, and technology innovation
- →
Work collectively and collaboratively with global and regional teams within and across their functional area as part of a matrixed organization; partner and maintain strong working relationships across CFS, divisional and corporate business partners, BTS, and other organizations and customers

Collaborate with ERP program team as needed, align on global standards and support technology deployments.

Ensure IT solutions and designs meet the needs of the business and that all aspects have been thoroughly tested, documented and trained

Drive the development and maintenance of documentation for harmonized global processes

Drive recommendations to advance the CFS Target Operating Model

Ensure adequate and timely root cause analysis to understand problem drivers and implementation of necessary corrections and/or changes

Establish key global metrics and monitor to measure effectiveness of continuous improvement and identification of additional improvement opportunities

Drive process automation and intelligent solutions including robotics for the supported process area.

Support development and preparation of solid business cases for identified continuous improvement initiatives

Be a trusted advisor to CFS leadership on respective sub-process areas
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or General Management
Accounting qualification ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent is required
7+ years Finance and Accounting experience,
Experience executing process transformation initiatives or delivering enterprise systems
In-depth understanding of SAP or other major ERP systems capabilities
Experience or exposure to Abbott Global Finance Systems such as Cadency and Cora desirable
Direct experience or exposure to finance & accounting processes, with strong accounting acumen; FP&A experience desirable
High degree of attention to detail and ability to understand complex processes, combined with ability to summarize and convey big picture.
Strong quantitative and analytical reasoning skills
Program and project management experience
Ability to collaborate in a cross functional global team across multiple levels
High degree of organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
Team oriented, strong collaborator
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Travel required 10% - 15%
