This position works out of our Alajuela, Coyol location in the Electrophysiology business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
Responsibilities

Facilitate employee engagement, training, and development initiatives within the team.

Manage suppliers and ensure material availability to support production plans and timelines.
- →
Optimize inventory levels to balance production needs and cost efficiency.
- →
Monitor supplier performance and support sourcing strategy development and execution.
- →
Design and implement inventory strategies that ensure material availability, cost optimization, and efficient inventory management.

Support and manage inbound freight initiatives and related spend.
- →
Contribute to new product introductions (NPI) and product validation processes.
- →
Provide regular updates to management on work-in-progress, material availability, and potential supply risks; proactively recommend solutions.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, and other teams to ensure operational alignment.

Evaluate planning, purchasing, and distribution processes; recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency.

Analyze scrap material trends to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
- →
Participate in team and departmental meetings to share updates on production materials and key developments.
- →
Support divisional initiatives in alignment with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Knowledge in GMP/ISO9002
