From our Zurich site, a diverse team of ~130 colleagues collaborates across development, quality, and production to deliver the CentriMag System and HeartMate 3—supporting patients with advanced heart failure around the world.
As a (Senior) Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping financial insights that directly support innovation and patient impact. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to help drive operational excellence, transparency, and smart decision-making.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted finance partner for cost centers, capital investments, projects, inventory and windchill change orders

Lead and support annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting process across assigned areas

Partner with the business to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and support improvement initiatives

Support full cycle of capital (planning, tracking, and post-investment)

Monitor inventory and communicate financial implications and opportunities by partnering with local supply chain

Contribute to continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, reporting and data accuracy

Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and reporting requirements
- →
Execute deliverables in a consistent, timely, and accurate manner
- →
Play a key role in month-end activities by executing journal entries, performing variance analysis, and preparing reports

Degree in Finance (or similar), with approximately 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in FP&A
Experience in manufacturing or operations finance is a plus, but not essential
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to translate financial data into clear insights for different audiences
Confidence working with systems and data (e.g., SAP, Dodeca/ Essbase, Excel and Power BI)
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to manage priorities and navigate a dynamic environment and high-pressure situations
Fluent English
