Abilitie is looking for a highly innovative and experienced business development professional for a key role within our organization as a Regional Account Executive. Reporting to the MD of Europe, you will be responsible for the business development efforts in one of our geographic regions (UK and EU). This is a critical role that requires the right balance of sales prospecting, strategic thinking, comfort with buying conversations, and a strong roll-up your sleeves ‘get it done’ mentality. The right person will work well in a fast paced atmosphere that allows you to create, innovate, and contribute your expertise to shape the growth of our organization. 

  • Interfacing with in-bound leads to understanding potential avenues for us to integrate our solutions to add value to organizations in their talent development efforts.
  • Understand our simulation and leadership programs and be able to speak confidently about how they can be used in virtual and in-person training settings.
  • Creatively find ways to interact with potential buyers of our simulation by adding value through email, social media, networking events and other channels to drive additional conversations for our organization in your region.
  • Attend industry conferences, both in-person and virtual to build relationships with key decision makers at organizations that are in the market for leadership development programs.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with our client experience team to ensure that our key client contacts feel that their needs are being met at all stages of their journey with Abilitie.
  • Develop a broad understanding of the market landscapes and identify key areas of competitive difference and disruptive opportunities. 
  1. Experienced. 2+ years of business development experience with a preference towards those with experience within the Learning & Development industry.
  2. Motivated. You have a “roll-up-your-sleeves'' mentality and you operate with the ability to execute independently, drive high performance, and get buy-in from potential clients. 
  3. Adaptable. You face new challenges with confidence and a fast-paced environment with agility and grace.
  4. Strategic and Creative. You are a strategic marketer who is inquisitive and proactive in terms of ideas and innovation. 
  5. Analytical. You are data-driven and have strong problem-solving abilities.
  6. Agile. You thrive in a start-up environment with the ability to quickly adapt and make informed decisions to maintain progress & precision at a face pace.
  7. Ownership mindset, self-starter: Self-reliant, thrive when given a lot of responsibility. You are endlessly resourceful with a good dose of common sense, always able to find ways of getting things done efficiently. You have a team focused work ethic, willing to chip in and help others in doing whatever it takes to get the job done. You stay focused on the outcome to be achieved, finding a way to “make it happen” through a healthy balance of self-determination and collaboration.
