Team Lead, Security – 2nd Shift

Sibanye-Stillwater is looking for a dependable and experienced Team Lead, Security to join our Security Operations team at our Fairless Hills facility.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can help guide the day-to-day activities of the security team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, security, professionalism, and consistent application of site procedures.

This position is designated for 2nd Shift at $23.50 per hour. The selected candidate must be available to complete approximately six months of training on the 10:00 AM–6:00 PM shift before transitioning to the assigned 2nd Shift schedule.

Candidates should ensure they can accommodate the training schedule before applying.

As a Team Lead, you’ll work alongside the Security team while providing day-to-day guidance and support. You’ll:

• →Support and coordinate daily Security Officer activities.
• →Help ensure established security procedures and site requirements are consistently followed.
• →Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors.
• →Conduct facility patrols and routine security checks.
• →Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• →Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, X-ray equipment, and other security equipment.
• →Assist with visitor check-in, screening, and escorts.
• →Respond to alarms, incidents, and security-related concerns.
• →Provide guidance and support to Security Officers during the shift.
• →Assist with incident reports and required security documentation.
• →Communicate effectively with Security leadership and other departments.
• →Help maintain a professional, safe, and secure work environment.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous security experience strongly preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to provide direction and work effectively with a team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete required documentation.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in an active industrial environment.
• Ability to work the required 10:00 AM–6:00 PM training schedule for approximately six months before transitioning to 2nd Shift.
