Responsibilities

→Assists with basic maintenance and upkeep of building systems and equipment.
→Performs general maintenance duties such as light fixture replacement, minor repairs, and basic troubleshooting.
→Uses hand and power tools safely to complete basic repair and maintenance tasks.
→Completes assigned preventative maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.
→Learns to use the CMMS program to log and support work performed.
→Learns, understands, and complies with fire, safety, and other emergency practices. Informs supervisor of any condition observed to be unsafe.
→Assists with basic upkeep of lighting and other building components as directed.
→Records basic maintenance activity in building logbooks.
→Assists with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall repair, and general cleanup tasks.
→Helps maintain maintenance inventory and notifies supervisor when supplies are running low.
→Assists in emergencies as needed and under supervisor direction.
→Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.
→Participates in training directed at job-related skills and safety compliance.
