Security Officer

This is a permanent contract. Door Supervisor licences required. Arena Shopping Park is an indoor and outdoor shopping centre housing over 35 retail shops and restaurants. We are looking to appoint a full-time security officer to complete our team.

• SIA Door Supervisor licence essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management
• Smart and well-groomed

• Ability to take ownership of all situations to ensure tasks are completed or escalated when necessary.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

• Familiar with patrolling and monitoring from a loss prevention aspect
• Confident in complying with Health & Safety and fire prevention procedures
• Ability to adapt to changing situations
• Proactive attitude

• → Gladly interact with all visitors/tenants within the shopping centre, delivering first class customer focused service
• → Carry out regular patrols of the shopping centre
• →Ensuring all incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and procedures
• →Liaising with site control room proactively reacting to incidents
• → Ensuring any unsecure areas of the site are reported immediately
• →Deal efficiently and effectively with all emergencies
• →Monitoring and surveillance of suspect individuals, logging, and reporting incidents in line with site/company polices
• →Maintain vigilance and highlight unauthorised access by banned individuals
• →Ensure radio procedures are always adhered to
• →Ensure all events/incidents are recorded in the DOB book correctly
• →Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
• →Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events
• →Complete all training requirements as requested by line manager
