Job Summary

To support the PowerCurve Team Manager in the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and enhancement of Business Banking scorecards and strategies within PowerCurve (PCO).
The role focuses on analysis, documentation, testing support, data handling, and execution of approved changes, operating within established frameworks, methodologies, and design principles.

The primary purpose of the role is to support the delivery and ongoing operation of Business Banking PowerCurve solutions by executing business analysis activities under the guidance of the PowerCurve Team Manager.

  • Supporting system integration activities and testing.

  • Assisting with strategy changes and monitoring within PowerCurve.

  • Business-as-usual (BAU) maintenance and small enhancements on PowerCurve.

  • Input and output data analysis, validation, and quality monitoring.

  • Supporting campaign lead identification and data preparation.

  • Stakeholder engagement at operational and project level.

  • Analysing business problems and requirements.

  • Supporting the design of business procedures, functional specifications, and process improvements.

  • Producing analysis artefacts and documentation to support solution design and implementation.

  • Support the PowerCurve Team Manager in applying agreed design principles aligned to credit and business needs.

  • Assist in mapping current and future-state processes impacted by policy or system changes.

  • Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify scope, and document needs.

  • Identify and escalate business risks, data issues, and dependencies to the PowerCurve Team Manager.

  • Prepare workshop materials, agendas, and documentation.

  • Capture and document outcomes from workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagements.

Requirements

  • Assist in reviewing existing business architecture (processes, products, systems, and roles).

  • Conduct detailed business and data analysis to support requirement definition.

  • Document business requirements, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.

  • Support root-cause analysis through interviews, data reviews, and workshops.

  • Maintain requirement traceability and version control.

  • Support the design of future-state solutions using agreed frameworks and templates.

  • Assist with feasibility and impact analysis across people, process, data, and systems.

  • Prepare functional and non-functional requirement documents, use cases, and user stories.

  • Support interface and integration analysis with IT System Analysts and vendors.

  • Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise architecture and standards.

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution.

  • Prepare test cases, test data, and validation scenarios.

  • Coordinate UAT logistics (users, access, environments).

  • Record test results, defects, and outcomes in line with methodology.

  • Support benchmarking of solutions against agreed standards and best practices.

  • Honours Degree in Actuarial Science/Risk Management/Fin Risk Management/ BSc., BSc (Eng)/ BSc Comp Sc, B Com (Informatics)

  • Ideally, at least 3 years of working experience

  • Ideally, at least 2 years of business-analysis / business-consulting experience

  • Previous direct involvement in business-change projects would be advantageous.

  • Well-rounded credit professional that is highly numerate and literate.

  • Business requirements analysis and documentation.

  • Business process analysis and modelling.

  • Data analysis and data quality validation.

  • Basic understanding of project and change methodologies.

  • Working knowledge of credit risk acquisition processes.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into system-related artefacts.

Education

Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
