About the Role
~1 min readWe are currently seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team on a contract basis. This role will be responsible for benefits and compensation administration and compliance, leave management, and HR program support across the entire company. You work with a sense of urgency and thrive in a dynamic team and high-performance culture. This role is the first point of contact for HR-related matters which requires solid collaboration skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality
Responsibilities

- →Administer employee benefits programs (e.g., health, 401(k), FSA, wellness), including enrollments, changes, terminations, and open enrollment activities.
- →Conduct compensation analysis using market data; develop insights, support pay recommendations, and contribute to merit and compensation planning cycles.
- →Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HRIS data in compliance with applicable laws and company standards.
- →Serve as a primary employee resource, responding to inquiries on policies, benefits, and HR programs in a timely, compliant, and customer-focused manner.
- →Manage employee lifecycle transactions (hires, changes, terminations) in partnership with Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders.
- →Administer leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, state and company leaves), including case management, documentation, and communication.
- →Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., wage & hour, ADA, FMLA, EEO) and maintain required reporting and documentation.
- →Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, compliance tracking, and reporting (e.g., EEO, affirmative action).
- →Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR programs, processes, and employee engagement initiatives.
- →Promote a positive, inclusive work environment and employee well-being.
Requirements
~1 min read- 5 years of related HR experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree
- Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with proficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and ATS systems (Rippling, Ashby are preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Experience with benefits administration and leave management processes

What We Offer
~1 min readThe salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000/year. The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary range for this job at the time of posting. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law
