~1 min readWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lead to support the delivery of major capital projects across the United Kingdom and wider EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global construction consultancy working on some of the world's most complex and innovative infrastructure and data centre developments.
The successful candidate will bring extensive commercial leadership experience, ideally within large-scale construction, infrastructure, or hyperscale data centre environments. You will play a key role in ensuring commercial excellence, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving successful project outcomes.

- Lead and manage commercial teams across major projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business goals.
- Act as a key client interface, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage commercial risk, change control, and contractual obligations, ensuring accurate reporting and robust governance.
- Provide strategic leadership while maintaining a hands-on approach to project delivery and commercial management.
- Drive a collaborative and high-performance culture that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support wider business growth initiatives and contribute to key account management activities across the UK and EMEA.
- Significant experience delivering large-scale construction, infrastructure, or data centre projects.
- Proven leadership experience managing commercial teams within complex project environments.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management, claims, and change control processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with strategic thinking and practical project delivery experience.
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within hyperscale data centre or mission-critical environments.
- Membership of a recognised professional body such as RICS or CIOB.
- A collaborative, low-ego approach and a genuine commitment to team success.
- A proactive mindset with a strong bias for action and continuous improvement.
- UK-based role with a combination of home working, client site visits, and occasional travel as required.
- Flexibility and mobility are essential to support project and client requirements across the UK and wider EMEA region.
