Location: Goshen, NY Rate of Pay: LP $75,000 and LMSW/LMHC/LCSW/LMFT $80,000 Retention Bonus: $7500 OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES: We are looking for a dynamic Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Licensed Mental Health Professional who is passionate about working closely with youth ages 10-21 with acute behavioral health needs.  The Youth ACT Team is a program designed to address the significant needs of children/youth who are at risk of entering, or returning home from high intensity services, such as inpatient or residential services, through the use of a multidisciplinary team. Youth ACT services are delivered in the home or other community based settings. Youth ACT teams deliver intensive, highly coordinated, individualized services and skilled therapeutic interventions through an integrated, multidisciplinary team approach to better achieve success and maintain the child in the home, school and community. The Licensed Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing clinical treatment and working with their Youth ACT team colleagues to follow the mission of providing the child and their family with the level of support and access to services required to sustain gains made in crisis response or other out of-home high-intensity services.   PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:  The Youth ACT Licensed Mental Health Professional will:  Conduct assessments and provide person centered, trauma-informed and culturally humble treatment, including crisis intervention to participants. Participate in staff meetings, daily clinical case conferences, and other agency or program meetings, including coordinating with other service providers/schools, family members, etc., as necessary. Assure timely and satisfactory completion of documentation in electronic charts and case records. Participate in a weekly on-call rotation.   QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES: Ability to manage multiple simultaneous work demands in an effective and professional manner. Ability to work well independently, while collaborating with other team members. Ability and willingness to self-motivate, prioritize, and change processes to improve effectiveness. Excellent writing skills. Computer literacy. Ability to navigate Electronic Health Records and other systems. Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred but not required.   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: NYS License in one of the following categories: Psychologist, Clinical/Masters Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Creative Arts Therapist Experience working with youth and their families both individually and as a group Experience working in community based settings, preferred Familiarity with the Orange County System of Services, preferred   PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Must have reliable transportation and be able to respond to client needs, in person, within an hour during scheduled work and on-call hours.
