We're looking for an Employee Experience Coordinator who is equal parts trainer, coach, creative thinker, and relationship builder. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys speaking in front of groups, embraces technology, and is passionate about helping employees grow from their very first day and throughout their careers.
As a key member of our Human Resources team, you'll help shape the employee experience for nearly 400 library staff across 15 locations. From designing interactive training programs and leading new employee orientation to developing engagement initiatives and coaching supervisors, you'll play an important role in building a workplace where employees can thrive.
Responsibilities

- →Design and deliver engaging training programs for staff at all levels.
- →Lead New Employee Orientation and help create an exceptional onboarding experience.
- →Develop creative employee engagement and retention initiatives that strengthen our workplace culture.
- →Partner with managers to support employee development, coaching, and retention.
- →Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins with new employees and provide ongoing support throughout their employment.
- →Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors, helping navigate workplace questions and challenges.
- →Gather employee feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- →Research new training methods, technology, and best practices to keep learning fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- →Collaborate with departments across the Library to create an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive work environment.
- Loves presenting and feels comfortable facilitating both small and large groups.
- Is tech-savvy and enjoys learning new software and training tools.
- Has experience developing and delivering employee training or professional development programs.
- Brings fresh ideas and creative approaches to employee engagement.
- Builds trust easily and enjoys coaching and supporting others.
- Can balance multiple projects while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Communicates with professionalism, empathy, and enthusiasm.
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements

- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or Six years of professional experience in employee development, training, learning and development, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
A valid driver's license is required.
