The Allen County Public Library is looking for a customer-focused IT Technician to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you'll provide hands-on technical support for staff across our library system, ensuring that computers, devices, and technology remain reliable so our employees can deliver outstanding service to the community.

Responsibilities
~1 min readAs an IT Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the library's technology infrastructure by:
- →Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals
- →Responding to Help Desk requests and ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally
- →Managing user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365, including password resets and access changes
- →Assisting with network connectivity, basic server support, and escalating complex issues when needed
- →Maintaining accurate documentation, asset inventories, and support records
- →Contributing to disaster recovery readiness by keeping endpoint devices updated
- →Participating in technology projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- →Providing friendly, easy-to-understand technical guidance and instruction to library staff

- Two years of experience providing hardware and software technical support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting Windows computers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and LAN environments
- A valid driver's license
