We are seeking an Overnight Front Gate Associate for our Marquee Park Place association located in Irvine, CA.
 
Schedule: 
Wednesday through Sunday, 11pm-730am
 
Compensation: $21 per hour
 
Job Summary
The purpose of a Front Gate Associate will provide a constant security presence inside of the gatehouse and respond as necessary to the needs of the property. Front Gate Associate are responsible for ensuring that access is controlled, the HOA’s rules are being followed and the property is well maintained.  Front Gate Associates must at all times display a professional appearance and speak in a polite manner and clear tone, including answering telephones or addressing people who have approached the gatehouse.
 

Responsibilities

  • Report any concerns to Management, Engineering or Janitorial as appropriate.
  • Represent Action Property Management by greeting residents, guests, and other visitors at the gatehouse in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Be familiar with the parking structure.
  • Answer phones and greet all residents and guests as they enter or exit the property.
  • Maintain the appearance kiosk area by assuring it is organized and clean at all times; summon the janitorial or maintenance staff when needed.
  • Note accurately any issues or information throughout the work shift in the Daily Activity Report; read the pass-on log and read any e-mails for information pertinent to Front Gate Associate; communicate effectively with co-workers to assure a smooth transition of shifts.
  • Regularly observe building activity as captured by surveillance cameras and displayed on security monitors; report suspicious or abnormal activities to Action staff and management, building security, or Law Enforcement, as appropriate; prepare detailed documentation of incidents according to established procedures.
  • Report complaints, reports of nuisance, and non-compliance issues to Management per the post instructions. Submit Incident Reports when necessary.
  • Understand and implement Emergency Procedures when required; understand and coordinate appropriate communications with residents and emergency personnel in the event of a fire alarm, fire, flooding, earthquake, or other emergency event.
  • Follow all “Post Instructions” and adhere to the Association’s Governing Documents, CC&Rs, and the Rules and Regulations of the Association; be familiar with, and adhere to, all association policies, emergency procedures, and evacuation procedures. 
  • 1 year of customer service
  • 1 year of security experience
  • Preferably in hospitality or luxury property management.
  • Polished and professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong critical thinking skills. Must be solutions oriented
  • High attention to detail
  • Personable and capable of building a strong rapport with residents and guests
  • Team player
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
