Brewer

We are now accepting applications for the following position:

• →Execute the necessary production duties including but not limited to wort production, fermentation management, filtration and finishing, bright beer handling, cellaring, blending, packaging.
• →Sample tanks for gravity, pH, CO2/DO levels, yeast cell counts and document all actions taken or changes occurring with a beer. Harvest and handle yeast.
• →Ensure that all beer is produced to standards and specification by following recipes and procedures as set by SOPs.
• →CIP and manual cleaning of all tanks and equipment. Perform periodic maintenance to assist Maintenance Manager.
• →Follow best practice and safety requirements dutifully.
• →Maintain brewing, cellaring, clarification and other related documentation in an organized and complete manner.
• →Attend brewery staff meetings as required.
• →Clean and sanitize all equipment and work areas to maintain consistent beer quality.
• →Maintain healthy communication with other departments (QA/QC, Packaging, & Tasting Room)
• →Possess a well-rounded knowledge of brewing, beer styles and beer knowledge.
• →Perform all job functions within the structure described in the Employee handbook of policies and procedures.

• High school diploma - Formal brewing education preferred, or college degree preferred.
• 2 years brewing experience.
• Ability to work and communicate well with all staff.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accurate record-keeping abilities.
• Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing/manufacturing setting
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Flexible schedule as will involve shift work.

Salary: CI$48,000 - CI$63,000 per annum

Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law
