Hospice of Virginia is seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN On-Call Nurse to join our growing team serving Richmond and the surrounding communities. Responsibilities
~1 min readAs an RN On-Call Nurse, you'll play a critical role in delivering compassionate care and support during after-hours needs by:
- →Responding to and triaging after-hours patient and family calls.
- →Assessing patient needs and coordinating appropriate nursing interventions.
- →Providing symptom management, clinical assessments, and care plan updates.
- →Collaborating with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and community resources to ensure seamless patient care.
- →Supporting patients and families through urgent situations with empathy and professionalism.
- →Performing clinical pronouncements and offering compassionate support to loved ones.
- →Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
