Responsibilities

As an RN On-Call Nurse, you'll play a critical role in delivering compassionate care and support during after-hours needs by:

→Responding to and triaging after-hours patient and family calls.
→Assessing patient needs and coordinating appropriate nursing interventions.
→Providing symptom management, clinical assessments, and care plan updates.
→Collaborating with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and community resources to ensure seamless patient care.
→Supporting patients and families through urgent situations with empathy and professionalism.
→Performing clinical pronouncements and offering compassionate support to loved ones.
→Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia.
Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families.
Current CPR Certification.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
