What We Offer

~1 min read- →Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with the physician’s plan of care and state practice guidelines
- →Develop individualized treatment plans and establish functional goals to improve patient independence
- →Communicate plans of care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- →Teach new skills or retrain patients in activities of daily living impacted by illness or injury
- →Fabricate splints and instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment to enhance function
- →Train patients in the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices as appropriate
- →Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including notes, reports, and updates to patient status
- →Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician and care team
- →Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
Requirements
~1 min read- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
- Current registration through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and licensed in the state of practice
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist (preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance
