JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Cambridge, MN • Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Medical Center • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical • Coverage Period: ASAP – 16 Weeks with ongoing extension potential • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:00a – 3:30p or 7:00a – 5:30p • Schedule Details: Provider needed for approximately 2 shifts per week. Flexible scheduling preferred with ongoing monthly shift releases. • Practice Model: Supervised Model PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics • Case Mix: Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, General Surgery, Endoscopy, Podiatry, Urology, and Ophthalmology cases FACILITY INFORMATION • Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital • Trauma Level: Adult Level IV • Beds: 86 • Operating Rooms: 5 ORs and 1 designated Endoscopy Suite • EMR System: Excellian • Specialty Backup Available: Supervising MDs and additional CRNAs onsite • Support Staff Available: CRNAs, MDs, perioperative support staff COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Included • Local/Drive-In Providers: Preferred REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General anesthesia cases • Orthopedic procedures • ENT procedures • GYN procedures • Endoscopy cases • Podiatry procedures • Urology procedures • Ophthalmology procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active Minnesota CRNA License required • NBCRNA Board Certification required • DEA required • ACLS required • BLS required • PALS required • ATLS preferred • COVID Vaccine: Not required per facility guidelines • Flu Vaccine: TBD/Unknown DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia coverage in a supervised CRNA model • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties and procedures • Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration • Collaborate with supervising physicians, CRNAs, and surgical teams • Accurately document patient encounters and anesthesia records within Excillian EMR • Deliver high-quality patient care across neonatal through geriatric populations
