JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD-129341 Profession: Pysician Specialty: Emergengy Meding Job Type: Locum Tene Location: Johnson City, Tenesse Coverage Period: Aug 01, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 24-hour coverage Reason for Coverage: Coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 66 patients per day Case Mix: Emergency Medicine FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 80 beds EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: APPs (22 hrs/day) PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes JOB REUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABIM, ABFM or equivalent) Licenses: Active TN Medical license, DEA with TN address (Schedules II-V) DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required (Schedules II-V) Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS; NRP for non-ABEM providers Experience: Reidency trained in specialty required Other Qualifications: Case logs past 2 years, Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME, ECFMG for foreign graduates DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants Maintain 24-hour physician coverage as per model Perform procedures consistent with emergency medicine privileges Maintain board certification, licenses, and required continuing education
