JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Gastroenterology Physician • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Lebanon, PA • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Coverage Only • Coverage Period: September 21, 2026 – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Scoping Only, No Inpatient or Call Responsibilities COVERAGE DATES • September 21, 2026 • October 28, 29, and 30, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adult Patients (18+) • Case Mix: Gastroenterology procedural patients requiring inpatient hospital-based scopes FACILITY INFORMATION • Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital • Hospital Bed Size: 163 Beds • Department: Digestive Health • EMR System: Epic • Department Description: Hospital-based scoping procedures only • Specialty Backup Available: Hospital support staff available as needed PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Available for providers with clean files • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days with temporary privileges possible for clean files COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General Gastroenterology Scoping Procedures • No ERCP Procedures • No EUS Procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology • Licenses: Active Pennsylvania License Required • DEA: Required • Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS • Experience: Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform scheduled inpatient hospital-based gastroenterology scoping procedures • Provide procedural gastroenterology care for adult patients • Complete accurate and timely documentation within Epic EMR • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure continuity and quality patient care • Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing and procedural requirements
