The rest are treatment patients & follow ups. • Rounding Included: Yes; No daily rounding; Just 1-2 hrs • Support Staff: 1 NP; Tumor board participation: yes • Specialty Backup: 1 virtual hematologist • % of Practice: 2/3 onc, 1/3 hem • Case Mix: - Typical lung, breast, protate, colorectal & some outliers (community ctr), some blood cancers sent out. DO not provide IP chemo; Just OP. Targeted therapies onboarded at tertiary center typically. • Duties: - Support hospitals with IP & ER consultation/patient care guidance related to Hem/Onc - May take secure chats from hospital during clinic hrs. IP consult before/after clinic. - Clinic hrs: - 20 mins. for Pre-Treat (pt's being seen before treatment) & for established follow ups. - 40 mins. for New Hem consults & Hospital follow ups (if needed) - 60 mins. for Hem/Onc consults - Also cover as a supervising provider for a morning & an afternoon each week; Covers urgent patient needs for providers not in the office that day. • Required Procedures: - Infusion/Treatment: Handled in clinic; Primarily administer chemo, immunotherapy therapy, IVIG, IV iron & non chemo injections (Infusion center on site) - Radiation oncology coordination (navigator assists w/ this) • Dictation System: Nuance • No. of Beds: 274 • Other Info: - Will not be sole provider on site - We don't block clinic hrs for the hospital call/rounding - Have infusion centers to support port labs/infusions/injections & transfusions. • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active PA License or IMLC or willing to obtain • BC • DEA • Fellowship-trained • Less experienced (considered) • NPDB Self-query (within 6 months)
