Job Quick Facts: • Reference #: BD-1325-01 • Profession: Allied Health • Specialty: Licensed Dietitian • Location: Glasgow, Kentucky • Facility Type: Long-term care facility • Job Type: Contract • Contract Term: Potential for a long-term contract • Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm • Rate: $40/hr Requirements: • Licensed Dietitian in the State of Kentucky certified by the State Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists. • Member of the American Dietetic Association • Minimum of 3 years experience providing dietary services • Experience working with individuals with behavioral health, developmental, and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred. Responsibilities: • Assist in the operations of the clinical dietary services and ensure all dietary needs of residents are met according to individual care plans. • Work closely with the Director of Nursing and the Food Service Manager to plan, implement, and consult on dietary services. • Conduct patient charting and nutritional assessments, ensuring all dietary needs are met and documented in resident records. • Consult with medical and clinical staff regarding nutritional therapy and participate in treatment planning. • Ensure nutritional standards meet applicable health regulations. • Provide in-service training to staff and participate in the development of resident assessment protocols. • Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including accrediting and regulatory requirements. • Maintain adherence to professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
