PATIENT INFORMATION Case Mix: Full-scope midwifery, intrapartum, postpartum, OB triage, and well-woman gynecologic exams FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds: Level III NICU onsite EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: 24-hour in-house OB/GYN support REQUIRED PROCEDURES First Assist Intrapartum management Postpartum care OB triage Well-woman gynecologic exams JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified Licenses: Active Texas Medical License DEA: Active Texas DEA Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-scope midwifery experience; Minimum of 2 years of recent first assist experience (within the past 2 years) Duties & Responsibilities Provide full-scope midwifery care in an inpatient hospital setting. Support patients throughout labor and delivery, including first assist duties. Manage intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage patients. Perform well-woman gynecologic exams across the lifespan. Participate in 12-hour or 24-hour in-house call coverage.
