JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Cardiology (Non-Invasive) • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Chambersburg, PA • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical Only + Limited Call • Coverage Period: September 1, 2026 – Ongoing - Minimum 6 months • Clinical Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) - 1–2 weeks per month preferred • On-Call Shift Schedule: Occasional weeknight and weekend call • Call Type: Limited call with callback • Call Ratio: As needed during coverage weeks PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults (18+) • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 25–35 patients per day • Admissions: Included • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: Included • Case Mix: Non-invasive cardiology including consults, echo, holter, EKG, stress testing, TEE, cardioversion FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 265 beds • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Full cardiology diagnostic equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Interventional and EP services on-site • Support Staff Available: Additional MD and APP support • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (clean file) • Credentialing Timeline: Minimum 90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Not Specified REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Echocardiography interpretation • Holter monitoring interpretation • Stress testing (including nuclear) • EKG interpretation • TEE and cardioversions JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active PA license or IMLC LOQ required • Board: Board Certified in Cardiology required • DEA: Required • Certifications: ACLS and BLS required • Other Qualifications: CTA reading preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide non-invasive cardiology services • Perform diagnostic and procedural cardiology care • Participate in limited call coverage • Collaborate with cardiology and specialty teams • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
