JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Billings, MT Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jul 27 – Oct 16, 2026 Shift Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8a–5p 3 weeks/month Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 19 Annual Deliveries: 700 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner Support Staff: RNs: 4, MAs: 8, PA/NPs: 4, Office Staff: 2 Trauma Level: I PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) OB Ultrasounds (Performance of, interpretation) Decision-making for c-section Office/minor gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive OB/GYN outpatient clinic office consults. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including REI, MFM, Gyn/Onc, and Uro/Gyn specialists. Utilize 24/7 MFM support for high-risk patient management. Maintain accurate patient records within the Cerner EMR system. Participate in a comprehensive team environment supported by a hospitalist model.
