On-Call Shift Schedule: 7p – 7a Minimum shifts required: 10-12 per month Call Type: Beeper Call Back %: 5-10 Call Response Time: 30 minutes Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 4 patients/day Rounding: Both Phone Consults: Yes FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level II PEDS Level: Level III EMR System: Epic Support Staff: 3-4 RNs PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: No REQUIRED PROCEDURES Intubation (ENT/INT) Newborn Pediatrics JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Required Licenses: WA or IMLC DEA: Yes Certifications: BLS, PALS Fellowship: Preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage for 10-12 shifts per month. Manage patient care during 12-hour clinical shifts. Provide evening beeper call coverage following clinical shifts. Collaborate with nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Epic EMR system.
