Summary: Job Id: A-LEAD-69857 Profession: Leadership Specialty: Leadership - Allied Health Job Type: Full-time Start Date: Sep 28, 2026 Location: Southgate, MI Shift Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Weekend Requirements: TBD On-Call Requirements: none Shift Type: Days Requirements: Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or counseling with an LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan. - [REQUIRED] Candidate must have at least one (1) year experience in examining, evaluating and treating children and adolescents. - [REQUIRED] Candidate must have at least one (1) with intellectual and developmental disability diagnoses and utilizing relevant treatment modalities. - [REQUIRED] Experience in working with Waivers. - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] One year of experience in a supervisory capacity. - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] Experience with electronic medical record - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] Must meet the requirements for Children’s Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) within 120 days of hire. Additional requirements are good written and verbal communication skills as well as having the ability to be organized, creative, flexible, and provide, non-judgmental, culturally competent, unconditional care. Individual must be highly organized and demonstrate competence in providing services to consumers of psychiatric and specialized services. Must have valid driver’s license and favorable driving record. Must have the ability to appropriately handle crisis situations. Cannot accept candidates who are on student/work visas, and/or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time. Must have and retain a valid LMSW, LLP, or LPC in Psychology with the State of Michigan.
