JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Oncology Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: York, PA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Sep 19, 2026 – Dec 19, 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00 – 4:30 (clinic) or 7:00/8:00 – 4:00/5:00 (OR) On-Call Shift Schedule: Weekends: 24-hour call; Weeknights: after-hours call (APPs take first call) COVERAGE DATES Mon, Jul 27, 2026 – Sat, Aug 08, 2026 Sat, Sep 19, 2026 – Mon, Oct 12, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (18+) Patient Volume/Census: Office: 15-20 patients/day; OR as needed Case Mix: Gynecologic Oncology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: MAs: 2, PA/NPs: 3 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 2 weeks for full compliance; temporary privileges available for clean files JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license or IMLC LOQ Board: BC/BE in Gynecologic Oncology DEA: Required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive gynecologic oncology care in outpatient clinic and operating room. Supervise and teach residents assigned to the service. Participate in after-hours call coverage (APPs take first call) on weeknights. Provide 24-hour call coverage on weekends. Collaborate with a team of 3 APPs and 2 MAs.
