Adelphi is seeking School Psychologists to provide in-person school-based psychological services for students within school districts located in the North Coast / Northwest Oregon region. The School Psychologist will support student success through evaluations, behavioral assessments, crisis planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration in accordance with district requirements and applicable state and federal regulations. Hybrid candidates may be considered if able to complete in-person student testing and observations. Job Quick Facts • Reference #: BD-1262-04 • Profession: School-Based Services • Specialty: School Psychologist • Location: North Coast / Northwest Oregon • Facility Type: School Districts • Coverage Type: On-Site (Hybrid considered for qualified candidates able to perform in-person testing and observations) • Job Type: Contract • Contract Duration: 2026–2027 School Year • Schedule: Monday–Friday; 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM • Hours: Flexible FTE opportunities ranging from part-time to full-time combinations across districts • Compensation: $70 per hour Requirements • Active Oregon TSPC School Psychologist license/certification required. • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral assessments in school settings. • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, manifestation determination procedures, and special education eligibility processes. • Experience with PSW (Patterns of Strengths and Weaknesses) model for SLD identification preferred. • Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills. • Ability to participate effectively within multidisciplinary educational teams. Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility determination. • Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and assist in the development of behavioral intervention recommendations. • Participate in manifestation determination reviews and crisis planning activities. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Special Education staff, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), ASD Consultants, teachers, and administrators. • Support ASD evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary assessment team. • Interpret assessment data and prepare written evaluation reports in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines. • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding student supports, accommodations, and interventions. • Consult with educators, families, and staff regarding academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health concerns. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, records, and compliance reporting. • Support positive student outcomes through evidence-based practices and collaborative problem-solving. • Ensure compliance with FERPA, IDEA, and all applicable Oregon educational regulations. • Travel between assigned school sites as required. • Perform other duties as assigned.
