Our client is a MedTech startup developing an AI-powered Mixed-Reality (MR) surgical navigator, transforming medical education, diagnosis and treatment planning.
In order to accelerate sales cycles, ensuring customer success, and feeding real-world insights back into product development, they are looking for an Applications Engineer to drive market adoption of the platform while ensuring robust technical implementation and support.

The ideal candidate understands how to generate, assess, and capitalize on market traction, while also possessing the technical capability to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot both the software and hardware components.

Technical skills

BSc. Degree – computer science or software engineering (or related field)
3+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Applications Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer
Experience working with complex software platforms and integrated hardware systems
Strong understanding of software systems, configuration, and integration
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across software and hardware layers
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and SaaS environments
Fluent in English and Intermediate French is mandatory, bilingual ideally

Assets:

Experience with AR/VR/MR technologies, medical technology, imaging, healthcare IT, or life sciences
Exposure to 3D visualization, spatial computing, or immersive technologies
Previous startup experience or work in early-stage product commercialization

Softskills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong customer orientation and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary startup environment
