Our client is developing a next-generation AI infrastructure platform designed to orchestrate complex R&D ecosystems across enterprises, research institutions, and industrial players. Positioned at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data infrastructure, and innovation systems, the company is building a sovereign, AI-native platform aimed at transforming how organizations design, validate, and scale innovation in highly complex environments.

Following several years of development, the company has reached key technological milestones, including validated use cases, proprietary intellectual property, and pilot programs developed with strategic partners. It is now entering a critical expansion phase, moving from product validation to structured growth.

As part of this international expansion, the company is establishing its first European hub in France, which will serve as a strategic base for ecosystem development, institutional engagement, and future scaling across Europe.

In this context, our client is seeking a Chief of Staff / General Manager France to lead the structuring and deployment of its French operations. Acting as a key partner to the CEO and local operator, this role will be instrumental in translating vision into execution and driving the company’s expansion in Europe.

Our client is seeking a highly strategic and operational Chief of Staff to lead the launch and development of its French entity. This is a late partner and founding role at the intersection of strategy, operations, and ecosystem development within a high-growth deeptech environment.

Acting as the CEO’s right hand in Europe, you will play a critical role in translating the company’s vision into execution, ensuring the successful establishment and scaling of its presence in France. You will act as the primary architect of the 'Sovereign Corridor,' bridging the high-velocity commercial environment of New York City with the deep-tech R&D ecosystem of Paris

In the early phase, you will structure the French subsidiary, supporting its legal and operational setup and acting as its local representative within defined governance frameworks. You will drive execution across key dimensions: operations, partnerships, and internal coordination, ensuring strong alignment between the Paris hub and global teams.

You will play a central role in business development and growth, pioneering a high-velocity 'Strategic Diagnostic' approach to bypass traditional pilot cycles and rapidly demonstrate hidden R&D ROI and engaging with senior stakeholders at C-level within large organizations.

In parallel, you will contribute to funding and financing initiatives, working closely with public institutions (such as Bpifrance), and coordinating with legal and financial partners to support grant applications and ensure compliant execution.

A key dimension of the role is ecosystem development, you will anchor the company within the French and European landscape by building strong relationships across industry, academia, and public institutions, and positioning the company as a credible and strategic player in the deeptech and AI ecosystem.

Responsible for building a very specialized, high-level technical team, you will also lead talent and organizational build-up, recruiting Forward Deployed Architects and PhD Researchers, structuring the local team, and fostering a high-performance, execution-driven culture.

As a strategic partner to the CEO, you will provide structured insights, support decision-making, and ensure that priorities are effectively translated into measurable outcomes.

This role is designed to evolve rapidly, with the potential to grow into a broader operational leadership position (COO-type) at European level in the medium term.

You hold a Master’s degree or PhD from a leading institution, ideally in engineering, business, or a related field, and bring significant experience (typically 8–15 years) gained in strategy consulting, high-growth startups, or hybrid roles combining strategic thinking and operational execution. You have demonstrated your ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments, driving execution in contexts characterized by ambiguity and high stakes.

You combine strong analytical and structuring capabilities with a clear execution mindset. You are recognized for your ability to translate high-level strategy into actionable plans and deliver tangible results. You have proven experience managing complex projects, engaging with senior stakeholders, and navigating multidisciplinary and international environments.

You have a solid understanding of the AI and deeptech landscape, particularly in B2B environments, and are comfortable interacting with technical teams without necessarily being a technical expert. Your ability to quickly grasp complex topics and translate them into business and operational implications is a key differentiator.

You demonstrate a strong understanding of the French ecosystem, including public institutions, innovation frameworks, and corporate environments, and are able to operate effectively at the intersection of public and private stakeholders. You are also comfortable working in an international context, navigating cross-cultural dynamics, particularly between Europe and the United States.

As an individual, you exhibit a strong sense of ownership and accountability, high-energy, 'next-gen' leadership characteristics, with the ability to maintain the agility of a startup while carrying the gravitas required for senior institutional diplomacy. You are proactive, adaptable, and capable of operating with a high level of autonomy. Partenaire clé du CEO et en charge des opérations locales, ce profil sera déterminant pour traduire la vision en exécution et piloter l'expansion de l'entreprise en Europe.

Notre client recherche un·e Chief of Staff hautement stratégique et opérationnel pour diriger le lancement et le développement de son entité française. Il s'agit d'un rôle de "late partner" et fondateur, à la croisée de la stratégie, des opérations et du développement d'écosystème dans un environnement DeepTech à forte croissance.

Bras droit du CEO en Europe, vous jouerez un rôle critique dans l'exécution de la vision de l'entreprise, en assurant l'établissement et la montée en charge de sa présence en France. Vous serez l'architecte principal du "Corridor Souverain", faisant le pont entre l'environnement commercial à haute vélocité de New York et l'écosystème R&D DeepTech de Paris.

Dans une première phase, vous structurerez la filiale française (aspects juridiques et opérationnels) et en serez le représentant local, dans le cadre de la gouvernance définie. Vous piloterez l'exécution sur plusieurs dimensions clés : opérations, partenariats et coordination interne, en garantissant un alignement fort entre le hub parisien et les équipes mondiales.

Vous jouerez un rôle central dans le Business Development, en initiant une approche de "Diagnostic Stratégique" à haute vélocité pour court-circuiter les cycles pilotes traditionnels, démontrer rapidement le ROI caché de la R&D et engager des décideurs de niveau C-level au sein de grandes organisations.

En parallèle, vous contribuerez aux initiatives de financement, en travaillant étroitement avec les institutions publiques (telles que Bpifrance) et en coordonnant les partenaires juridiques et financiers pour soutenir les demandes de subventions et garantir une exécution conforme.

Une dimension clé du poste concerne le développement de l'écosystème : vous ancrerez l'entreprise dans le paysage français et européen en bâtissant des relations solides avec l'industrie, le milieu académique et les institutions publiques, positionnant la société comme un acteur stratégique crédible du secteur IA/DeepTech.

Responsable de la création d'une équipe technique de très haut niveau, vous dirigerez également le recrutement de profils pointus (Forward Deployed Architects, chercheurs PhD), structurerez l'équipe locale et insufflerez une culture de haute performance orientée vers l'exécution.

En tant que partenaire stratégique du CEO, vous apporterez des analyses structurées pour soutenir la prise de décision et veillerez à ce que les priorités se traduisent par des résultats mesurables. Ce rôle est conçu pour évoluer rapidement vers des fonctions de direction opérationnelle élargies (type COO) au niveau européen à moyen terme.

Titulaire d’un Master ou d’un Doctorat d'une institution de premier rang (ingénierie, commerce ou domaine connexe), vous justifiez d'une expérience significative (8 à 15 ans) acquise en conseil en stratégie, en startup à forte croissance ou dans des rôles hybrides combinant réflexion stratégique et exécution opérationnelle. Vous avez démontré votre capacité à opérer dans des environnements complexes et rapides, en pilotant l'exécution dans des contextes caractérisés par l'ambiguïté et les enjeux élevés.

Vous alliez de fortes capacités d'analyse et de structuration à un état d'esprit orienté vers l'action. Reconnu·e pour votre capacité à traduire une stratégie de haut niveau en plans opérationnels, vous avez une expérience éprouvée dans la gestion de projets complexes et l'interaction avec des parties prenantes de haut niveau en milieu international.

Vous possédez une solide compréhension du paysage de l'IA et de la DeepTech (particulièrement en B2B) et êtes à l'aise pour interagir avec des équipes techniques sans nécessairement être un expert technique vous-même. Votre capacité à saisir rapidement des sujets complexes et à les traduire en implications business est un différenciateur clé.

Vous justifiez d'une excellente connaissance de l'écosystème français (institutions publiques, cadres de l'innovation, environnements corporate) et savez naviguer efficacement entre les acteurs publics et privés. Vous êtes également à l'aise dans un contexte international et multiculturel (notamment Europe/États-Unis).

Sur le plan personnel, vous faites preuve d'un fort sens des responsabilités, d'une grande énergie et d'un leadership de nouvelle génération. Vous savez conserver l'agilité d'une startup tout en possédant le "gravitas" nécessaire à la diplomatie institutionnelle de haut niveau. Proactif·ve et autonome, vous êtes à la fois un bâtisseur et un exécutant, motivé par l'impact et la création de valeur à long terme.
