The Logistics & Shipping/Receiving Support Contractor will provide temporary administrative and operational support to the Logistics/Warehouse and Shipping & Receiving teams. The primary responsibility of this position will be processing logistics and inventory-related transactions in Oracle and providing general support to the team’s day-to-day activities. The contractor will also assist with routine shipping, receiving, warehouse, and material-handling activities as needed.

 

  • Process inventory and logistics-related transactions in Oracle accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory data entry, documentation, and routine inventory activities.
  • Assist with material movements between internal locations and designated storage areas.
  • Assist with maintaining organized inventory and warehouse areas.
  • Assist with identifying and addressing routine discrepancies related to inventory transactions and documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Logistics team as needed.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments as needed.
  • Assist with receiving, labeling, staging, and moving packages and materials.
  • Assist with preparing and packaging outgoing shipments.
  • Assist with routine shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Provide additional support to the Shipping & Receiving team during periods of increased workload.

Requirements

  • Experience with Oracle or another ERP system preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, administration, or data entry preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to learn and follow established processes and procedures.
  • Ability to perform repetitive data-entry and transactional tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and provide support where needed.
