~1 min read- Ready to join our OB family? Advent Health Winter Park is a premier destination for obstetrical care. With roots deep in the community, AH Winter Park has been providing individualized care for generations in a boutique style environment.
- Our NICU is a 12 bed Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. AH Winter Park delivers approximately 3,500+ births per year (275 babies per month). The adjacent units are a 14 bed Labor and Delivery unit and a 34 bed Mother Infant Unit.
- The multidisciplinary team is supported by Neonatologists/Pediatric Hospitalists and OB Hospitalists on Labor and Delivery 24/7.
- Our NICU Network expands across multiple campuses and has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as the Best for Neonatology in Florida
- Other highlights include the Professional Excellence Program and our Perinatal Nurse Internship Program.

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
