• Anticipates needs of providers, staff, patients, and families.

• Evaluates patient care and transplant outcomes, adjusting nursing care as needed.

• Facilitates communication and processes regarding UNOS listing, organ placement, recipient admission, and coordination with physicians, organ procurement organizations, UNOS, hospital staff, and the transplant team.

• Maintains ongoing coordination of care post-transplant for immediate and long-term follow-up.

• Conducts pre-transplant interviews with patients and families, interpreting eligibility criteria.

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
