Venture Fellow

Aegis Ventures partners with entrepreneurs and industry leaders to launch and scale transformative companies in digital health and artificial intelligence. Our platform brings together market-shaping ideas, growth capital, and ambitious individuals to solve major societal problems. With a focus on innovations in healthcare, Aegis has launched four successful portfolio companies in partnership with Northwell Health and recently announced the Digital Consortium to co-develop, invest in, and launch new companies.

The Aegis platform brings together market-shaping ideas, permanent growth capital, and ambitious individuals who are driven to solve major societal problems. Our companies use technology to transform healthcare by dramatically improving quality, access, and cost. Aegis creates new companies with substantial input from our Digital Consortium of a dozen leading health systems and other ecosystem partners. We have launched 6 innovative companies to date and are just getting started.

As a Venture Fellow at Aegis Ventures, you will have a unique opportunity to apply your clinical knowledge and business acumen in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. We are seeking a motivated graduate student with a strong background in consulting, finance, or business to join our team part-time.

You will work closely with our leadership team to conduct due diligence on new investment opportunities, build new companies, and support the growth of our portfolio companies. Venture Fellows are expected to commit a minimum of two semesters, with a weekly time commitment of approximately 15 hours. This role can be remote within the U.S. or based in New York.

• →Evaluate new investment opportunities through due diligence.
• →Help develop and launch new healthcare companies, from initial concept and business model development through company formation.
• →Collaborate with Aegis portfolio companies on strategic priorities, including growth, partnerships, fundraising, and new market opportunities.
• →Support a range of strategic initiatives across the Aegis platform, including thought leadership, industry events, and ecosystem engagement.

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program.
• Previous experience in consulting, investment banking, or business.
• A desire to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and with AI.

• $50.00 per hour.
