It is the perfect getaway for Italy lovers looking to spend time in the authentic Italian countryside. We are currently on winter break and when we reopen, the hotel has to be filled with life! Job Overview

Step into the world of hospitality excellence and become an essential part of our team as a Housekeeper! Picture yourself as the detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of our hotel, ensuring that every guest feels at home from the moment they step into their room.

Ensure occupied and vacant guestrooms / areas are cleaned and maintained up to the exact Aethos Hotels standard and guidelines as demonstrated by Housekeeping Leader staff during initial training

Remove all soiled linens and towels from rooms and store on back landings

Thoroughly clean guest bathrooms, bathroom walls, bathtub, shower staff, water closet using the suggested chemicals. After cleaning, dry all areas, fixtures and surfaces

Arrange all toiletries straightened on a piece of cloth in occupied guestrooms

Replenish all amenities and terry items

Efficiently make bed to meet appearance standard as demonstrated

Arrange all clothing items in occupied guestrooms are folded neatly according to standard as demonstrated

Upkeep guestroom and bathroom to include all inside windows and mirrors

Remove all room service trays from guestroom hallways and/or corridors to be brought to back landings and call for pick up

Vacuum the guestroom’s carpet and wipe down furniture and baseboards according to standard in all assigned work areas

Double check cleanliness of completed work area and placement of amenities in each complete guestroom before moving on to the next task

Recognize and report all missing, damaged or substandard furniture, fixtures and equipment

Evaluate work assignment and prioritize workload according to guest requests

Organize supply closets and work areas so that the Housekeeping Department operates, maintains and consistently meets efficient standards

Alert immediately when Lost & Found items have been found

Adhere to Do Not Disturb policy

Responsible for the working area to be cleaned and sanitized and the floor without debris

Fluent in English & Italian is a must

2+ years of hospitality experience

Collaborative and communicates well and accomplish tasks at efficiently

Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general

Research, organizational skills, and extraordinary relationship-building skills

Ability to multitask and execute under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environments

Strong communication and management skills. Communicate with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner

Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines

Flexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage is common

Ability to make thoughtful decisions and give constructive criticism

Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests

Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality of guests, employees, and information

Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel

Comply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations

Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions

Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine
