Job overview

At Aethos Mallorca, we are looking for a Shift Leader to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel throughout their shift.

We are looking for a dynamic, organised and people-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. The Shift Leader will oversee the daily operation during their shift, ensuring that Aethos service standards are consistently met and that the team has the support they need to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Supervise and coordinate the team during the shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Organise and distribute tasks according to the operational needs of the service.

Ensure compliance with Aethos quality and service standards.

Support the team in handling daily operational issues and guest requests.

Ensure an exceptional level of service and guest experience at all times.

Monitor the operational needs of the hotel throughout the shift.

Coordinate with different departments to ensure effective communication and smooth hotel operations.

Support the onboarding, training and development of new team members.

Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards and hotel policies.

Report any relevant incidents or operational matters to the Department Manager or Management team.

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position within the hospitality industry.

Experience in guest service and team coordination.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Highly organised, proactive and solution-oriented.

Strong attention to detail and service-oriented mindset.

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Good level of English, both written and spoken.

Previous experience in a 4*/5* hotel or high-end hospitality environment will be considered an advantage.
