Senior Accountant

• Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm PST

• Compensation: USD $3,200 - $4,200 /month (based on experience)

The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing reconciliation processes, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead process improvements while mentoring team members.

The Senior Accountant supports the financial health of the company by managing financial reporting, overseeing general ledger activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role enhances financial processes and provides leadership to junior accounting staff, contributing to the organization’s success and growth.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in real estate, property management, or investment firms. Experience leading/supervising a team of Accountants.

• Proficiency in real estate accounting software (such as Yardi, MRI, or RealPage), AI

• tools (such as Claude and ChatGPT), and advanced Excel skills.

• Advanced understanding of US GAAP, related party, partnership, and fund accounting.

• Certifications: CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.

• Big 4 accounting firm experience is a plus.
