Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop well-engineered, efficient, and testable software for new or existing applications
- →Understand customer requirements and produce appropriate specifications
- →Perform software release management
- →Support production systems on a 2nd level
- →Contribute to and review the overall projects' and systems' technical documentation
- →Develop unit tests, automated regression tests and handling defects as they occur
- BSc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a science degree in combination with a postgraduate degree in Information Technology.
- Sound knowledge of principles of Software Engineering, Data Structures and Algorithms
- At least 3 years of work experience in the development of large, heterogeneous systems with a proven record in database design and Oracle development using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Application Express v21 or above (APEX) and Oracle RESTful Web Services (ORDS)
- XML programming
- Data Modeling: Ability to design and implement efficient database schemas and data models.
- Oracle Performance Tuning: Knowledge of performance optimization techniques to ensure database and application performance.
- Experience with source control (Subversion or Git) and CI/CD principles
- Familiarity with applications for Capital or Energy Markets
