Junior Cost Accountant

We are looking for a Junior Cost & Manufacturing Accountant to join our team to partner with plant and manufacturing teams to support their goals, provide data driven recommendations, and help ensure consistent inventory and manufacturing controls.

• →Provide product costings for items produced at different European manufacturing sites
• →Calculate intracompany/intercompany transfer prices
• →Prepare analysis to support margin improvement, Prepare and poste month end journal entries
• →Ensure inventory, inventory provisions and variances (PPV, yield, absorption and standard cost changes) are accurately recorded and reconciled
• →Analysis of current Inventory to ensure this is effectively managed
• →Contribute to improvements in internal financial controls that comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements or other relevant guidance
• →Work with the Supply Chain Controller to satisfy Internal and External Audit requirements

• An AAT qualification
• Experience of working in a Finance Department
• Familiar with month end reporting, journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Good oral/written communication skills and able to communicate with Finance and non-Finance personnel
• Strong excel skills and experience of working with ERP systems
• Analytical and comfortable working with large amounts of data
