Accounting Manager

Salary Range for this position is $80-90k

We offer a hybrid workplace with three days onsite in our corporate office-Tuesday through Thursday in Waitsfield, VT or Andover, MA

• →Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• →Manage the GL – AP, month-end and year-end close processes
• →Review and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• →Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• →Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• →Oversee general ledger activities, including accruals, deferrals, and reclasses
• →Accounting point of contact for annual budget
• →Manage the expense reporting module
• →Manage balance sheet account reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies
• →Ensure proper accounting for fixed assets, leases, reserves, and prepaid expenses
• →Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting
• →Support audits and prepare audit schedules and documentation as necessary
• →Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• →Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency
• →Assist with system implementations, upgrades, or ERP enhancements
• →Develop and document accounting policies and procedures
• →Partner with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Payroll, and other departments
• →Provide accounting guidance to business stakeholders

• →Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10-15 years of progressive experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
• Excellent planning and time management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Systems conversion experience a plus
