Our dairy cooperative is seeking a regular, full-time Lab Technician 3rd Shift (11pm-7am). Training period will occur on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). Starting pay range: $27.74/hr.- $29.86/hr. There is also a 10% shift differential on 3rd shift.
Schedule flexibility required -- willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays and rotate shift, as required based on business needs.
Responsibilities include all aspects of product testing, ingredient screening, sanitation monitoring, loss control prevention, QA/QC of equipment, record keeping and report generation. Communication of quality standards and direction of blending/standardizing operations are also required.
Education in Food Science or related field preferred or equivalent experience preferred. Lab experience preferred. Physical Requirements include: mostly standing and sitting, some walking, bending and climbing (multiple flights of stairs on occasion). Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally during the course of a shift.
