Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, who is looking for a Technical Supervisor to join our team. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals, and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling, and analysis.

The Technical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the technical integrity of laboratory operations, ensuring all analytical methods, instrumentation, and quality processes align with industry best practices. This role focuses on technical governance and method reliability while supporting operational teams to resolve constraints impacting turnaround time (TAT). DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

Essential 

• Strong understanding of laboratory quality systems and method validation principles.
• In-depth knowledge of instrument performance, calibration, and maintenance systems.
• Understanding of basic mineral preparation and analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to address technical bottlenecks.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, LIMS).
• Understanding of laboratory health and safety (K3) implementation and technical compliance.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to laboratory personnel.

Required Work Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mineral laboratories, mining, or similar industries.
• Proven experience in laboratory operations, sample analysis, and instrumentation management.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and technical coordination for laboratory procurement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet turnaround time (TAT) deadlines under pressure.
