About the Role

Seeking a IT Project Manager with expertise in managing IT projects, particularly in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, budget estimation, and pricing, with experience in AI-related projects. This role involves overseeing IT initiatives, ensuring project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget, while driving innovation and efficiency in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Conduct detailed cost assessments and provide accurate project pricing.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including technical, financial, and operational risks.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
  • Manage IT projects involving AI technologies, such as generative AI, machine learning, or NLP.
  • Ensure AI solutions are integrated effectively into insurance processes (e.g., claims processing, fraud detection, customer service).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, actuaries, data scientists, and business leaders.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and deliverables.
  • Negotiate with vendors and external partners to secure necessary resources and services.
  • Manage internal and external project teams to ensure alignment and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize project management processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
