Recycling - Waste Handler

  JOB TITLE:                         Recycling Waste Handler              FLSA STATUS:                   Non-Exempt   CATEGORY:                       Machine Operator I  SCHEDULE:                       Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday 6pm-6am      SUMMARY: Conducts tasks required in the recycling area and plant cleanliness. Performs basic maintenance on a variety of specialized production and non-production equipment. Follow written, verbal and visual work instructions.     ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The ability to understand written, verbal and visual instructions The ability to perform accurate written and computer data entry Able to test material before shipment Ability to operate all recycling equipment Balers, fabric, fiber, cores, cardboard Hypertrim Compactor(s) Load Waste on Vecoplan Shredder for Erema Operation Weigh, tag, and properly document all waste.
