Water Treatment Plant Operative

Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off - Rolling Shift Pattern

Hours of Work: 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs

Salary: £13.96 per hour

• →Operate daily water treatment plant tasks including chemical dosing, pressing off, and level checking.
• →Maintain records of chemical usage and water quality readings accurately.
• →Coordinate with the Engineering Manager for ordering chemicals and supplies.
• →Assist maintenance engineers with planned and reactive plant maintenance activities.
• →Check all site fuel tanks daily and report levels
• →Ensure the plant environment is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• →Carry out additional duties such as grass cutting using tractor-driven equipment as needed.

• →Previous experience in water treatment operations or related industrial/environmental roles preferred.
• →Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
• →Ability to work well independently and within a team.
• →Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and management.
• →Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks as required.
